Quarantine Home
An opening speech & an invite to a conversation over a curry…

Quarantine was established in 1998 by directors Richard Gregory and Renny O’Shea with designer Simon Banham. We make original theatre, performance and public events with and about the people who are in it. Whatever form it takes, our work begins and ends with the people in the room. Over the last 20 years, we've collaborated with a shifting constellation of artists, performers and people who've never done anything like this before. Our work seeks to create the circumstances for a conversation between strangers...

An opening speech & an invite to a conversation over a curry…

Posted: 14 August 2013

Richard Gregory has been invited to make the opening speech at this year’s Noorderzon Performing Arts Festival, on the subject of risk.  Noorderzon is a fabulous festival in Groningen centred around a beautiful park  – it presents and co-produces some of the best contemporary theatre in the world. Quarantine has presented work at the festival in the past – Entitled in 2011 and Susan & Darren in 2010.

If you want to join us in a conversation over a curry, we’re back in Kabana with No such thing on Thursday 12 September. We’ve a limited number of slots available, so book early by emailing info@qtine.com! Slots are half an hour long, for one person at a time and run between 12 and 2:30pm.
