Quarantine Home
Some Autumn news from Quarantine…

Quarantine was established in 1998 by directors Richard Gregory and Renny O’Shea with designer Simon Banham. We make original theatre, performance and public events with and about the people who are in it. Whatever form it takes, our work begins and ends with the people in the room. Over the last 20 years, we've collaborated with a shifting constellation of artists, performers and people who've never done anything like this before. Our work seeks to create the circumstances for a conversation between strangers...

Posted: 8 September 2014

We’ve been busy since Summer. touring Table Manners, The Soldier’s Songand Between us, we know everything… across the North West and the Midlands.

So far the Between us, we know everything… team have taken our mobile film studio to a wide range of locations including Irlam and Cadishead Festival, The Meadows Youth Centre and Norley Adventure Playground (Wigan), Alexandra Park, Powerhouse Library and Manley Park (Manchester). We’ve collected knowledge about Prime Ministers, honeybees, crocheting, pigeons, invisible illness, sychronisation, and starting to live again no matter how old you are. All of these and more can be found on our ever expanding online map of knowledge, with more videos being added all the time.

The Soldier’s Song was a particular hit at Wythenshawe Hall where our original poster boy Darren made a cameo appearance…
