Quarantine Home
Some winter news…

Quarantine was established in 1998 by directors Richard Gregory and Renny O’Shea with designer Simon Banham. We make original theatre, performance and public events with and about the people who are in it. Whatever form it takes, our work begins and ends with the people in the room. Over the last 20 years, we've collaborated with a shifting constellation of artists, performers and people who've never done anything like this before. Our work seeks to create the circumstances for a conversation between strangers...

Quarantine are looking for a new home…

…and potentially someone to share it with.

We’re looking for a space for us to develop and create work, to use as our administrative hub and a physical and notional meeting point. We’re interested in talking to like-minded organisations and groups who might be looking for a similar facility to share – potentially from the arts, creative commercial sector, or charity sector.

We’re probably looking for a space with the following features:

Office space/several office spaces

Workspace – where performance/creative work can be developed

Kitchen/cooking facility & WC

Meeting room/break-out space

Get in touch to find out more… via info@qtine.com, or 0161 830 7318.

No such thing – our regular event

Once a month, we occupy a couple of tables in Kabana curry cafe, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The offer is simple: we buy you a curry, in exchange for half an hour of conversation. For upcoming dates and how to book in, check the work page.

The people in the room – a directing masterclass – waiting list sign up

The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester and IdeasTap have been working in partnership to run a series of directing Masterclasses – and on 11 December, 6 – 9pm, Quarantine’s Richard Gregory will be delivering one at the Royal Exchange. This Masterclass is now fully booked but you can sign up to a waiting list here  (you need to be an IdeasTap member to book).
