Quarantine Home
That was Summer., and up next…

Quarantine was established in 1998 by directors Richard Gregory and Renny O’Shea with designer Simon Banham. We make original theatre, performance and public events with and about the people who are in it. Whatever form it takes, our work begins and ends with the people in the room. Over the last 20 years, we've collaborated with a shifting constellation of artists, performers and people who've never done anything like this before. Our work seeks to create the circumstances for a conversation between strangers...

Thanks to everyone who joined us for Summer.  in Salford this June and contributed to Staging the city public discussion. We were really pleased that so many people joined us for the beginning of our ambitious quartet of performances. Summer. Autumn. Winter. Spring. will be developed and previewed over the next 3 years. More details coming soon…

We would also like to say a special thank you to the dozens of performers who took part, as well as the artistic and production teams, our co-producer Contact, plus supporters and funders – and of course, we were really thankful for the great weather!

Our summer season is not over yet – over the next couple of months we will be touring: The Soldier’s Song, Between us, we know everything… and Table Manners across the North and Midlands.
