Quarantine Home
The Dyas Sisters r&d begins in Dublin

Quarantine was established in 1998 by directors Richard Gregory and Renny O’Shea with designer Simon Banham. We make original theatre, performance and public events with and about the people who are in it. Whatever form it takes, our work begins and ends with the people in the room. Over the last 20 years, we've collaborated with a shifting constellation of artists, performers and people who've never done anything like this before. Our work seeks to create the circumstances for a conversation between strangers...

The Dyas Sisters r&d begins in Dublin

Posted: 26 February 2013

Starting with the people in the room…

We’re spending a week in Dublin, beginning some research and development for The Dyas Sisters. We don’t know what the outcomes will be… but we’re starting with the people in the room –  who are: Richard Gregory, director; Greg Akehurst, production manager; Simon Banham, designer; Joanne Fong, performer; Johanna Timm, performer; Rachel Davies, filmmaker; and of course Grace Dyas and Veronica Dyas.

We’ve been thinking about how to share this process with you; here is a sound clip and image from the week so far, check back for more…
